Star Princess Cruise Review (December 6-13, 2025)
I recently sailed aboard Star Princess from December 6-13, 2025, and overall, it was a very enjoyable cruise with plenty to love – and a few quirks travelers should know about ahead of time. Star Princess is a beautiful, modern ship, but its layout can feel a bit like a jigsaw puzzle. Getting from one place to another wasn’t always intuitive, and I often found myself hunting for Guest Services or the Cruise Next desk instead of easily stumbling upon them. Even after several days onboard, navigating the ship sometimes required checking deck plans or asking directions. It’s manageable, but first-time cruisers should expect a short learning curve. One thing that truly elevated the experience was Princess Plus. It made sailing feel genuinely all-inclusive and was absolutely well worth the cost. Having drinks, Wi-Fi, and gratuities covered removed the mental math and made the cruise much more relaxing. For most travelers, Princess Plus is a smart upgrade that simplifies everything.Dining & Food Experience
Dining onboard was consistently solid. The main dining room offered good food with a nice variety of options, making it easy to find something appealing each night. The buffet was a pleasant surprise – refreshingly fresh with a broad selection. As a self-proclaimed vegetable girl, I especially appreciated the wide variety of vegetables, salads, and lighter options available. It was easy to eat well without feeling stuck with limited choices.Entertainment
Entertainment was a standout feature on Star Princess. There was great entertainment happening all over the ship, from live music to performances in multiple venues. Whether you were actively looking for a show or simply wandering around in the evening, there always seemed to be something going on, which kept the atmosphere lively and engaging.Ports of Call
The itinerary offered a relaxing mix of Caribbean favorites:- Amber Cove – A laid-back port with easy access to pools, shops, and excursions right near the ship.
- Grand Turk – Beautiful turquoise water and a classic Caribbean beach vibe, perfect for a low-stress beach day.
- Princess Cays – Princess Cruises’ private island, ideal for relaxing, enjoying the beach, and soaking up island scenery without the crowds of a major port.
